Position Summary: The Marin Community Foundation (MCF) is seeking a Director for its Affordable Housing & Homelessness Initiative under a new strategic vision. This initiative aims to reach functional zero chronic homelessness and ensure affordable housing for all Marin County residents. The Director will lead the strategy, collaborate with community partners, and be accountable for achieving outcomes, aligning funding, and evaluating progress. The Director will represent MCF to grantees, donors, the Board, and the public, positioning the organization as a key partner in addressing housing and homelessness issues. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Policy expertise to advance systemic change in housing and homelessness. Experience in affordable housing financing, impact investing, and philanthropic funding. Proven ability to secure funding, grants, and build partnerships. Leadership skills in managing staff, fostering collaboration, and strategic discussions. Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders and fostering inclusive dialogue. Ability to define, measure, and track KPIs aligning with strategic goals.
