Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Supervisor, responsible for overseeing daily operations, team scheduling, safety management, productivity, and material coordination. You'll provide hands-on guidance and training to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with excellent organizational skills who can effectively support operational management and continually improve processes. Duties include overseeing daily team operations, including scheduling, work orders, safety, productivity, material coordination, and employee relations; providing direct support, guidance, and on-the-job training to team members; fostering strong working relationships to enhance team and customer satisfaction; promoting a culture of safety by leading new employee safety training and conducting quality control inspections on maintenance activities; supporting Operational Managers in monitoring and improving operational performance; developing and maintaining processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, valid Driver’s License, 3+ years of maintenance experience, ability to obtain required security clearance, and availability for on-call work including occasional evenings and weekends. Preferred qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, 3+ years’ experience in airport maintenance services, ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Physical demands include regular standing, sitting, walking, use of hands and fingers, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, climbing, balancing, and working in small spaces. Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircraft and baggage conveyor systems. Work environment includes office-like conditions but also outside weather conditions near moving machinery parts, active airport ramp, vehicles, and jet aircraft.
