Product Manager (Mid-level)

Client: Fortune 18 Retail

Remote (EST Time Zone)

On-site required for FTE conversion (Mon-Thurs)
Office Location: Atlanta, GA

Long-term Contract, potential for FTE conversion

Brooksource is hiring a Product Manager to support a high-impact, backend-focused team within our Fortune 18 retail client’s Supply Chain organization. This team plays a key role in managing the backend logic and systems that enable consistent, real-time delivery status communication to customers—regardless of the carrier.

You will work closely with backend engineers and a technical lead to ensure delivery systems are organized, scalable, and aligned with business goals. This is a technical, internal-facing product role, ideal for someone who can drive clarity, structure, and execution within a high-performing engineering team.

Responsibilities:

Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with engineering and product leadership
Facilitate Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives
Translate business requirements into technical stories and ensure clarity with engineering teams
Provide regular updates and communicate status to key stakeholders
Define and evolve the team’s intake process for new work
Partner with a strong technical lead to align delivery with goals
Identify process gaps and drive cross-functional coordination
Drive the development and enhancement of backend systems supporting
Delivery tracking
Customer notifications
Internal delivery status logic
Support the long-term evolution of the platform, including cloud migration and potential ML use cases

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner
Strong Product Fundamentals
Strong organizational and management skills—able to bring structure to backend teams
Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Comfortable interfacing with technical teams and driving clarity from business objectives
Bonus: Experience in Supply Chain/Retail, cloud computing, or Elasticsearch
